Mooseman 2009

Mooseman 2009 - BVHP Updates

The setting was perfect. It was a high of 70 with sunny skies and a beautiful crystal clear Lake. The international distance took place on Saturday. Mike Bingham did his first Olympic triathlon placing 6th in his age group at a very competive race! Liza Rivera finished her first triathlon ever with the most enthusiastic finish I have yet to see! She had an amazing day and is hooked to the triathlon lifestyle from this point forward! We look forward to many more races with Mike and Liza! Congrats to them both for a great BVHP showing! Mike Bingham at the finish!

Sara Pragluski, Ironman Hawaii competitor, Boston Marathon competitor, VT 50 mile finisher...and many more accolades, was first place woman in the 21 mile race! She completed the 21 miles in 4:55. This is not your ordinary 21 miles...mountains, roots, slippery rocks, steep inclines and declines, mud and black flies to name just a few differences! Sara is the first one off the bus!
